Friends
Friends! On this day in 1979 died Leonid Bykov - famous Ukrainian actor, director and screenwriter. In his honor named streets and even an asteroid. But what was this man like?
A year after the birth the family moved to Kramatorsk Bulls. He started going to school, life was calm and coordinated. Suddenly - World War II began. Several years after - evacuation in Barnaul. At the end of the war - the long-awaited return home. Guy entered the machine-building college, he studied for several years, but never finished it. But while he studied, Leonid Bykov discovered the scene and fell in love with it once and for all.
In childhood Bykov dreamed about aviation and flight, twice entered to schools. But for various reason he could not become it’s part. Bykov was not accepted the first time in the metropolitan school of actors: he did not have the certificate. But a year Leonid still managed to become a student – of the Ukrainian branch acting department of Kharkiv Theater Institute. After studying he played at Kharkov State Academic Theater of Shevchenko. Debut actor’s role was the role of Pallas sailor in the play "Death Squadron".
His first movie role Leonid Bykov played in the 1952 movie "Winners". Three years later, was the first major role - in the movie "Maxim Perepelitsa".
In the late 60s, along with Eugene Onopriyenko and Alexander Satska Leonid Bykov began to work on a film about pilots. But increasingly the censorship missed it. After a long wait in the 1973 film "Only old men come to fight "" still was removed.
Leonid Bykov died tragically in a car accident on the 47th kilometer of "Minsk-Kyiv" on the 11th of April 1979, in the midst of filming a new movie "UFO". The actor and director was returning from his cottage near Kyiv. Ahead of him was driving a tractor MTZ-50 with a cultivator, and for unknown reasons, the Bykov decided to overtake. He went on to overtake and to meet him moving truck GAZ-53. Bykov started to brake, the car turned on a slippery track, but clashes still happened. His death has acquired various legends. Some say - the heart of the actor stopped before the accident. Others explained - all because of the oppression that had experience in life.
The only thing what is common to all who knew and saw Leonid Bykov - he was a man of exceptional character. Well, correct, courteous. So we'll have to remember him that way.
