Friends!

Today began the official visit of Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman to Israel. In the framework of the head of the Ukrainian government will participate in more than two dozen of different meetings, in particular the meeting with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein and others.

During a meeting with Reuven Rivlin, that has ended recently, Volodymyr Groysman picked up one of the most important topics - Israel's recognition of Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainian people. He stressed that this step is extremely important for Ukrainian society and bilateral relations. I am sure that the request of Ukrainian Prime Minister will be heard, because for this decision has been made many efforts, as I told you before.

Reuven Rivlin also assured Ukrainian Prime Minister that Israel supports Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Along with Volodymyr Groysman they talked about Russian aggression and confrontation of Minsk agreements.

During a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were signed several bilateral agreements and a Memorandum on cooperation in health care, which will help Ukraine to adopt experience of Israel as one of the leading countries in this field.

Between meetings the Prime Minister of Ukraine and his wife visited the memorial complex "Yad Vashem" in Jerusalem. Also, Volodymyr Groysman planted an olive tree in the "Grove of Nations" as a symbol of peace for our countries and people, because Ukrainian and Israelis understand the price of peaceful sky over the head like no other.

I have repeatedly stressed that Ukraine and Israel are countries-friends. And relations between our countries have become increasingly stronger and fruitful. Visit of the Volodymyr Groysman and claims that recite on this occasion, reaffirm it. I believe cooperation between our countries will develop even faster after this visit.
