In Ukraine, there has been war for two years, in Israel – almost for 70 years.

At the same time, no one is afraid to go to Israel: tourists, pilgrims, scholars, different experts are not afraid, but on the contrary, they tend to go to work and rest in Israel.

In addition, a large number of local people also say that they feel secure and are not afraid to go out at night. According to studies, about 81% of Israelis over 20 think that they can absolutely safely go for a walk in their neighborhood alone at night. This figure is slightly less in big cities, but it is also very high - from 71% in Jerusalem, to 79.5% in Rishon Lezion. This does not mean that criminality has been tackled in Israel: on the contrary, over the past year there has been a wave of terrorism in the country, when some criminals attack people. But these figures clearly demonstrate the level of public confidence in law enforcement agencies, as well as they demonstrate the efficiency of law enforcement.

At the same time, according to Global Peace Index, Ukraine was at 156 place among 162 countries in terms of security and peace. The rate includes 23 indicators and measures the global security level in society, militarization level and level of internal and external conflicts. According to the security level, Ukraine occupies the place between Sudan and the Central African Republic, moreover during the last year we went 6 positions down.

I have repeatedly talked about how they care about the security of citizens in the conditions of permanent war in Israel. Today, Israelis protect the safety of the Olympic Games, because the Israeli experts are among the best in the world. According to the Israeli Prime Minister, thanks to their work, dozens of terror attacks are prevented in the world, the Israeli security services provide latest update to colleagues around the world. Can we ignore such experience and power in Ukraine, where the security situation, unfortunately, is only getting worse?
