Friends!

Today many countries celebrate Valentine's Day. In Ukraine, as well as in Israel, this holiday is not traditional, and is celebrated mostly by young people, as another reason to identify their feelings. But in both countries on this day dominates the mood of love.

In modern habit, on Valentine's Day it is recommended to women to dress in red and to men - give their halves red flowers and chocolate.

There are many legends about the origin of this holiday. In particular, during the Middle Ages appeared the story of Saint Valentine - the pastor who secretly crowned lovers. During the reign of Roman Emperor Claudius II there was a ban on marriage, because single men fought better on the battlefield. Valentine, who combined hearts, was arrested and sentenced to death. In prison, he fell in love with the daughter of his supervisor - Julia. It was her, to whom before his death he wrote a note and admitted in love. This was the first valentine card. Man was executed on the 14th of February, 269.

Few people know, but Israel has its own Valentine's Day - Tu B'Av. It is celebrated in the summer. In the period of the Second Temple in Jerusalem (348 BC - 70 AD) at this time people began to collect grapes. Girls dressed in white robes and started circle dances in the vineyards. At dances they preferred to meet their love ones. On Tu B'Av people was taken woo and married.

Friends! I have no doubt that true love does not need any dates and holidays - this feeling lives in our hearts every day. Treat the current boom as Family Day, think of your beloved little things that are important for you - the first meeting, a date, a favorite movie. Often you do not have enough time for that. Please love always, regardless of the season, problems and disagreements, disputes or fatigue. Because this feeling is the main engine of life.
