Ukrainian tennis star was born on the 12th of September, 1994 in Odessa, and later her family moved to Kharkov. Girl’s family inspired her to go into sports. Elina’s parents also were athletes - father was a wrestler, mother – did water sports. I'm sure it was the family influence and support, which helped the girl systematically and clearly conquer new and new heights. And now she is in the top ten best tennis players of the world!
Of course, a lot of work still ahead. Svitolina has not won a Grand Slam, but has already won six different tournaments. Last triumph happened recently in Dubai on the 25th of February, when she defeated former first racket of the world Caroline Voznyatski.
