Friends!
Today is one of the most tragic days in modern history of Ukraine - Memorial Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. This day bloody tsunami overwhelmed the Revolution of Dignity, killing most loyal sons of their homeland, which were fighting for truth, independence and sovereignty and against the usurpation of power.
On the 20th of February, 2014 were killed lots of activists of the Euromaidan. That day in the heart of Kyiv was the funeral of dead activists, who then became called the "Heavenly Hundred." "Plune kacha po Tusyni " – is a song requiem, which is directly associated with these terrible funerals and the death which we still cannot forgive and endure. For the first time, it was heard at the funeral of Belarus Mikhail Zhyznevsky, one of the first victims. He loved this song so friends accompanied him on his last journey with it. A deeper meaning and emotional swirl made it a requiem for all the victims at Euromaidan and war in the Donbas.
Friends! These people gave their lives for us. They gave us a chance to change the future of Ukraine, to make it free. As a sign of respect, we have not only remember the fallen heroes, but also we need to continue their work and decide together what path your country will go. Big country begins with each individual. Heroes do not die!
