Today, Jews around the world celebrate Rosh Hashanah and the advent of the year 5777 from the creation of the world. I heartily congratulate all with the upcoming holiday and wish your families, friends, relatives well-being!
Jews believe that on this day God judges the world by its deeds, and that next year will be as Rosh Hashanah. I wish that today and always in every house sounded laughter, joy and your hearts filled with happiness for every day!
Rosh Hashanah - is time to pay attention on actions committed in the past year, to realize mistakes, not to make them in the future. Today, in the synagogues you can hear the shofar (ram's horn hollow), calling on all to rethink their actions, referring not only to the ear, but also to the heart of everyone. Jews around the world will greet relatives and wish everyone good, pray for the well-being, giving gifts, dressed white clothes, symbolizing purity, and in the evening a family will gather for a rich feast.
The Jews say: "Le-Shana Tova tikatevu ve tihatemu", which means "Let it be written and sealed the decision that you will have a good year." Today in Jewish families’ women put on a festive table apples and honey, so that life will be sweet and happy, fish - a symbol of fertility, the head of a sheep or fish, to always be at the top, vegetables, cut into slices that resemble gold coins as a symbol of prosperity.
