The big football is coming back to Ukraine: today UEFA has accepted a decision according to which the Champions League Final will be held in Kyiv in 2018!

I congratulate all sports fans on this event!

We must understand that such events as the European Championship, Eurovision or Champions League promote enhancing of Ukraine's reputation as an independent, secure and developed state. One would think how we can be glad when there is a war in the East, but these bright events of peaceful life will help to attract attention of the international community to the situation in our country. I remind that Israel has been at war for almost 70 years, but sports competitions, world forums, conferences and festivals are regularly held there. Every year the country is visited by millions of tourists and pilgrims, bringing a lot of money to the budget.

So once again I congratulate everyone on this outstanding event! I am sure Ukraine will host the guests of the championship properly.
