Have you ever sent a letter directly to God?

I believe many would like, but the address is unknown. Israel post provides such service for everyone. Annually Israel post receives thousands of letters from around the world, which are signed simply, "Jerusalem. Western Wall. God”. And believe me, all these letters are delivered to where they should be.

Believe me, I have seen how the postman comes to the Wall with full bag of letters, and forward them to administration and the rabbinate of the Wall with my own eyes. After that chief rabbi puts them in the gaps between the stones.

Especially during pre-holiday days, like now, huge amount of letters is delivered. Every day hundreds of letters from around the world are delivered to the central post office in Jerusalem and then forwarded to the Western Wall - the wall of the destroyed Temple. People ask for everything: for new car, health, repose of a soul, or a new dress.

This year, during Jewish New Year eve, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Israeli post again delivers letters to God to the Western Wall. Israeli Post CEO Danny Goldstein forwards letters to the Head of administration of Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch. Letters are sent not only from Israel, but also from Russia, France, Spain, Netherlands, China, Nigeria, US, UK and several other countries.

If you have not written a letter to God yet, you can do it right now: Israeli post guarantees delivery directly to the recipient.
