Last week, reputable British magazine - Times Higher Education published a global ranking survey of the best universities: I have an honor to inform that four Ukrainian and six Israeli universities is deservedly are among them.

Lviv Polytechnic is top ranked among all Ukrainian universities, which ranked higher than its serious competitors such Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Kharkov National University of Vasyl Karazin and NTUU Kyiv Polytechnic Institute of Igor Sikorsky.

Among the best Israeli universities The Hebrew University in Jerusalem has the highest position -186, after it Tel Aviv University, Technion University, Bar Ilan University, Ben-Gurion University and Haifa University also.

I would like to note that Israeli universities ranks much higher than Ukrainian ones, beating them for 100-600 positions.

As expected, University of Oxford, California Institute of Technology, Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard and Princeton become the best universities in the world.

I must note that not only common indicators as level of scientific research, contribution to innovation, scientific articles citation were evaluated. An important factor in university ranking became an international student and faculty mobility, the number of international scholarship programs, the level of educational services and so on. Despite the fact that nowadays Ukrainian students are actively trying to communicate with their colleagues from other countries, they cannot be involved in scientific work on the same level as their Israeli counterparts because of visa regulations with EU and poor financing of education systems.
